Public Water System

 Franklintown Borough established the Municipal Authority in 1979.  By 1982 the town began connecting to the public water system.   We currently have 2 well sites and service approximately 300 residences with water.    

Water Authority Information

 Franklintown Borough Municipal Authority does not add flouride to the distributed water.  

Note, we are not subject to PUC or CDC regs regarding moratoriums because we are an Authority.
